Unwanted behaviors can make you feel stressed,
powerless, and isolated

Most people who start Addiction Counseling feel stuck repeating the same painful patterns. Perhaps you can relate. Maybe you feel like you want to escape your life or you can't seem to stop doing the things you hate.

Stuck in negativity and feeling hopeless, you may feel like life is out of control.

Do You Feel Numb, Ashamed, Empty?

Do any of the following resonate with you?

You feel like you lack motivation to do anything.
You feel lonely, even when you are with others.
You lost the joyful feelings that you used to have in life.
You've noticed that the spark in your relationship is gone.
You wake up every morning feeling overwhelmed and depressed.
You continue to cross boundaries you said you’d never cross.
You’ve tried to cut back, but it hasn’t worked.

If these sound true for you, I want you to know that even visiting this page is a step toward the connection that you seek and the changes that you are making.

You are not alone. I see many clients who have overcome fear and isolation to take these steps. You don't have to have everything together before you start to prioritize your own healing.
